The viewer can expect new arenas, challenges, rare techniques and a meeting with those who know how to break someone else's will as easily as bones. At the same time, the series retains an important emotional line; friendship and loyalty are not decoration here, but what gives the heroes a chance to survive when their abilities have not yet grown to the level of threat. Combat Continent knows how to delight with spectacular action, but also shows the work, discipline and cost of every step upward. The season is especially good because it makes character development not a quick miracle, but a result of mistakes, pain and perseverance that cannot be faked.
